-
Yes. Absolutely.
S Factor is very different from traditional pole or fitness-based pole classes.
While it may include a pole, the focus is:
Embodiment over tricks
Emotional expression over choreography
Sensual, intuitive movement over performance
Most students who come from other studios find S Factor to be a completely new experience—and that’s why starting from the beginning matters.
-
Yes—everyone starts here.
Even if you’ve danced, taken pole, or are very athletic, the Discovery experience is essential. It sets the tone, introduces the philosophy, and ensures you feel comfortable stepping into the studio environment.
-
Sisters in Motion is a trauma-informed, judgment-free space designed for deep embodiment and safety.
Here’s what makes it unique:
No mirrors → You feel yourself instead of watching yourself
Low lighting → Supports relaxation, privacy, and inward focus
Trauma-informed teaching → You are always invited, never forced, and always in choice
Supportive community → A space to be seen, respected, and uplifted
There’s no pressure to “perform” or look a certain way—this is about your experience.
-
Wear something you feel comfortable and sensual in.
Common options:
Yoga pants, leggings, or shorts
Tank tops, tees, or layers you can remove
Socks or bare feet
Many women naturally begin to wear clothing that helps them feel more expressive over time—but there’s no expectation.
-
Water
Layers (you may warm up as you move)
An open mind
That’s it. Everything else is provided.
-
Not at all.
S Factor is for all bodies, all ages, and all fitness levels.
You don’t need strength, dance experience, or confidence to begin—that’s what you’ll build here. -
While we offer several different membership options—which our team will walk you through during your Discovery Call—Sisters in Motion offers competitive pricing.

This means you’re getting 60–70% more class time than the average pole or fitness studio at approximately the same price.
-
As a member, you’ll receive:
A reserved spot in a weekly home class with the same teacher and group, creating a strong sense of connection and community
Additional class credits to explore other classes
100–120 minute classes (60–70% longer than most studios)
Unlimited virtual classes at no extra cost
Unlimited group open pole sessions at no extra cost
Free virtual workshops at no extra cost
Members only discount in-studio workshops
As you progress, you’ll also experience:
Advancement through the full S Factor curriculum from Beginner to Advanced
The opportunity to dance to music you bring in
Personalized feedback and body reading from your instructors in Intermediate and Advanced levels, designed to gently soften body patterns, tension and offer greater access to pleasure and emotional expression in your dance.
More than anything, membership gives you the structure, support, and consistency needed for real, lasting transformation.
-
No.
Because our classes are nearly double the length of most studios, are intentionally capped at 10–12 students, and follow a cyclical 16-week curriculum, we don’t offer drop-ins or class packs.
Our experience is that drop-ins don’t support our students in fully learning and integrating the curriculum, and we prioritize both continuity in your experience and a tight-knit, consistent community that comes from membership.
-
While we occasionally offer non–S Factor workshops from time to time, the primary modality we teach at Sisters in Motion is S Factor.
-
No.
Progression in S Factor is not based on mastering pole tricks.
Because the practice is centered on embodiment, students typically move to the next level after completing the 16-week curriculum, regardless of which tricks they can or cannot do.
Advancement is based on:
Your understanding of the S Factor curriculum and philosophy
Your comfort and connection in your body
Most importantly, how embodied you are in your movement
-
No—it’s much more.
While you will build strength physically, S Factor is also about:
Emotional release
Nervous system regulation
Confidence and self-expression
Reconnecting to your sensuality and inner world
Many women describe it as transformational, not just physical.
-
Yes.
Sisters in Motion is a trauma-informed studio, which means:
You are always invited, never forced
You move at your own pace
Your boundaries are honored
This creates a space where many women feel safe exploring their bodies in a new way.
That said, we are not therapists or medical providers. We always recommend checking with your healthcare or mental health professional before beginning any new movement, healing, or exercise practice—especially if you are currently navigating injury, trauma, or other medical considerations.
-
The community is one of the most loved parts of S Factor.
You’ll be surrounded by:
Supportive, encouraging women
A non-judgmental atmosphere
A space where all expressions are welcome
Many students say this sense of connection is just as impactful as the movement itself.
-
After completing your Discovery experience, you’ll be guided into:
Intro / beginner-level S Factor classes
Ongoing studio classes
Workshops or deeper experiences (optional)
You’ll continue building your practice at your own pace.
