Imagine walking into a sanctuary where women feel instantly seen, vibrant and powerful. Music pulses through three glowing, red-lit studios. Every dancer has room to rise, spin, and shine.
This is the future of Sisters in Motion - and with your support, it will become real.
For 12 years, we’ve grown together in a one-room studio with a leaking roof. Against all odds, we’ve built something extraordinary: a home of movement, empowerment, and sisterhood. Now, it’s time for our next chapter - a new studio in San Francisco’s SOMA district, a space worthy of our community.
But to make this vision a reality, we need your support. We cannot do this without you.
What Your Gift Makes Possible
During the pandemic, we had to operate at 100% cost without any considerable income. Virtual classes helped keep our sacred studio afloat but not enough to cover all the business expenses. The business had to take out several loans to ensure continuity and that put a strain on the business and its operations. A relocation was not only necessary, but the only way we can survive!
We love the community and the connections we have seen happen within the walls of our current studio in North Beach; but it’s time for a new chapter.
Our new location in SOMA district is BIGGER, more secure, and most importantly, able to accommodate all classes at prime time. No more getting out late at night and no more compromising sleep and comfort.
